Bio

Originally from Petit-Goâve, Woldenskee Minviel is a young leader passionate about local development, especially in his hometown. He holds an Associate Degree in Arts and Political Science from Bunker Hill Community College in Boston and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the prestigious University of Massachusetts, alongside a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) at Brigham Young University–Idaho.

 

From an early age, Woldenskee has been deeply committed to driving positive change in Petit-Goâve. Guided by a vision of citizen participation, inclusive governance, and transparency, he aims to run for mayor to bring innovative ideas and bold policies to his community.

 

Woldenskee is a member of the prestigious National Society of Leadership and Success, just like Barack Obama, and has already earned its advanced certification. He is actively involved in scientific projects focused on political development in Haiti and advocates for the rights of Haitian migrants through Haitian Rights Matter (2023–2025), a nonprofit organization in Massachusetts supporting Haitian immigrants. He is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the Commonwealth Honor Society.

 

In 2024, Woldenskee founded Les éditions Littéra to promote and celebrate Haitian literature. Since August 2024, he has been leading an ambitious project to strengthen participatory democracy in Haiti through the Haitian Youth Assembly, a democratic structure for debating and proposing legislation.
